Weekly Wrap-up December 6th 2025

Elder Nelson update: all is well. He is loving the German Christmas markets and German love of this holiday! He told us that in Germany they celebrate Christmas on the 24th-26th! How cool is that?! He is still in Hamburg. Catch his latest update HERE and HERE

Another fun week here at the Nelson home. We are getting into the full swing of Christmas but took time this week to celebrate our birthday boy! Andrew turned 9! See this post HERE for more on that. Here is a look at our week:

*Fiddler on the Roof continues to be a fun hobby for Trey. He is loving making new friends and singing his heart out and learning how to act.
*I went on a field trip with Kayla to the Utah Natural History Museum. It was fun to explore with her and be with her class.
*Kayla danced at another library!
*Trey had job shadow day at work. He decided to job shadow Scott and actually had a lot of fun. He got to sit in on some important meetings and got to meet former BYU linebacker, Ben Bywater! And he ended the experience by going out to lunch at R&R with mom and dad.
*Carson had a fun adventure when he got out of school and found Lil' Blue boxed in between 2 cars. He was hopelessly stuck and had to wait for one of the other drivers to show up and let him out!
*Friday night we hosted a Christmas Movie extravaganza! First we watched a family movie, Arthur Christmas. We invited the Youngs (Rose and Rich, Menlie and Lila) and the Banks family. We had a meat platter and pizza and fruit. This was a super cute movie! After that, Carson and Trey had a movie party. They watched Red One and each invited some friends.
*Saturday was mostly Andrews birthday. BYU lost, badly, to Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championhip. Kayla played great in her Junior Jazz Game and had 12 points and 10 boards in the win.
